As the wedding invitation designer, I know that each couple's wedding is unique and special in its own way. I was incredibly excited for this Irish wedding, I knew I was in for a treat. Irish weddings are steeped in tradition and history and is a perfect blend of elegance, beauty, and ruggedness. This family's history had settled into the county of Cork, and brought those elements into their wedding with the family crest and beautiful greens that we incorporated into the programs and signage. When it comes to wedding details, nothing says elegance quite like green velvet. The luxurious fabric has long been associated with Irish royalty and added a touch of regal sophistication to the wedding day. The bridesmaids wore a soft blush that really accentuated the color palette. By incorporating all these elements, they created a celebration that is both traditional and unique that will be memorable for all their guests in the years to come. The wedding invitations, menus, programs and signage all set the tone for the big day. Venue: Barclay Villa

As a wedding invitation designer, I love nothing more than seeing my creations come to life in a styled shoot. So when I was approached to design the invitations for a blue-themed wedding shoot, I jumped at the opportunity. The shoot was held at a beautiful venue. The color scheme was centered around different shades of blue, ranging from pale to dusty blues, with accents of gold and ivory to add warmth and elegance to the overall look. The tablescape was adorned with peonies, roses, thistle and olive branches, with candles and the cutlery adding a touch of glamour. The stationery suite I designed for the shoot featured soft painted brushstrokes in shades of blue, paired with a delicate calligraphy font and floral accents for a luxurious touch. For the invitations, I opted for a dusty blue and white color scheme with a modern twist. The main invitation card featured a beautiful painted design of blue and white brushstrokes, with a matching envelope liner and gold foiled text for a touch of elegance. The suite also included an RSVP card and envelope, as well as a details card with information about the wedding venue and accommodations. One of my favorite elements of the shoot was the cake, which was a beautiful two-tiered confection featuring blue fondant with tissue accents. It was truly a work of art and perfectly complemented the overall aesthetic of the shoot. The bride and groom were styled in classic and elegant attire, with the bride wearing a stunning gown, and the groom in a blue grey suit with a white shirt and blue tie. Overall, the shoot was a stunning display of how a blue-themed wedding can be elegant, sophisticated, and modern all at once. From the table settings to the stationery suite, every detail was carefully curated to bring the vision to life. If you're planning a blue-themed wedding and looking for inspiration, I hope this styled shoot has provided some ideas and inspiration for your big day. And if you're in need of custom wedding invitations, I'd be honored to work with you to bring your vision to life. Venue: The Upchurch
